How to search the most common viewers in Virginia

1. Open the county's own web map.
2. Search for the property or pan and zoom to it.
3. Click the lot to bring up what the county publishes about it.
4. Look for print or measure tools if you need a quick map or rough size.

1. Accept any disclaimer, then use the search tool to find a street address, owner or parcel ID.
2. Click a parcel to view its attributes.
3. Use the layer or basemap controls to add aerials and other layers where the county provides them.

1. Open the official map link from the county's page. The map opens in Esri's ArcGIS Map Viewer in a new tab.
2. Type an address or place name into the search box at the top, or drag and zoom the map yourself.
3. Click inside a parcel outline. A pop-up lists whatever attributes the publisher shares, such as a parcel ID or acreage.
4. Open the Layers panel to hide or show parcels, and use the Basemap button to switch to aerial imagery.

Treat these maps as a starting point. Parcel outlines are tax-map drawings and can be off from the true line; the recorded deed and a licensed survey are what count.
