Nunavut Land Parcel Map: Using the CLSS Map Browser
Nunavut has no free territorial parcel viewer. Here is how to find surveyed parcels and plans on the federal CLSS Map Browser by community.
Nunavut titles are registered at the Nunavut Land Titles Office. Much of the territory is either federal Crown land or Inuit Owned Lands under the Nunavut Agreement. We found no free territorial parcel viewer, but the federal government does publish survey parcels.
The CLSS Map Browser
The CLSS Map Browser from Natural Resources Canada shows surveyed parcels and survey plans for Canada Lands in Nunavut. It covers the Canada Lands Survey System kept by the Surveyor General Branch.
- Open the map browser and choose Nunavut.
- Search by community, parcel designator or NTS map sheet.
- Click a parcel to see its lot and plan, and open the related survey plan.
Survey plan images may need a separate viewer app to open.
What it doesn't cover
The map shows surveys, not ownership. For titles, contact the Nunavut Land Titles Office. For Inuit Owned Lands, the land is administered under the Nunavut Agreement rather than shown as ordinary lots.
See our Nunavut land maps page.
Accuracy: a map is not a survey
Online parcel maps are drawn for registry, tax and planning use. Lines can be off by a few metres, sometimes more. For a fence, a setback, a building permit or a sale, check the registered plan and hire a Canadian land surveyor licensed in that province or territory.
