PEI Property Map and PID Lookup: Free Options

Look up a Prince Edward Island property number (PID) free: the PEI parcel layer in ArcGIS, the Civic Address Locator Map, and what GeoLinc Plus adds.

On Prince Edward Island, each property has a Property Number, or PID. You can find it for free in a few ways.

Free ways to find a PEI parcel

  1. PEI property parcel map: the province's public parcel layer, opened in ArcGIS Map Viewer. It opens on Charlottetown with property lines drawn, and you can pan anywhere on the Island.
  2. Civic Address Locator Map: search by address, property ID, community or municipality. It also shows the PID.

The province also has a free PEI Information Mapping app that needs no registration. You can search it by address, community or property number and click Details for property information. It sits behind a bot check, so we link straight to the public parcel layer instead.

Paid reports

GeoLinc Plus is the province's paid subscription service for more detailed property reports. Most people only need the free maps to find a parcel and its number.

Tip

If you already have an address, start with the Civic Address Locator to get the PID. Then check the parcel shape on the parcel map.

See our Prince Edward Island land maps page.

Accuracy: a map is not a survey

Online parcel maps are drawn for registry, tax and planning use. Lines can be off by a few metres, sometimes more. For a fence, a setback, a building permit or a sale, check the registered plan and hire a Canadian land surveyor licensed in that province or territory.
