Baltimore City Plat Maps
Baltimore City plat maps belong to the independent city, not Baltimore County. Use the city parcel map, not the county one.

Baltimore City plat maps are the recorded plats and parcel lines for Baltimore City, Maryland. The city is its own jurisdiction. It is not inside Baltimore County. Searching the county viewer for a city address, or the city viewer for a county address, returns the wrong map.
A plat is the filed subdivision or resubdivision drawing. The city's parcel layer is the current tax map of those lots. Row-house lots are narrow, and a fence or a party wall on an aerial photo is not the legal line.
How to open them
- Go to the Platbookmapper home page and search Baltimore.
- Open the Maryland directory and match the tax bill. If the bill says Baltimore City, do not open Baltimore County.
- Use the official GIS link for that jurisdiction and search the site address or parcel identifier.
- After you have the block and lot, look for the recorded plat on the same local land-record site.
Platbookmapper links out to local parcel and lot-line maps. It does not host Baltimore plats, and the GIS line is not a survey.
Not a survey. County GIS and tax parcel maps are assessment and planning layers. They are not a substitute for a recorded plat, deed, or licensed survey.
