Tax and planning layers are not surveys. Confirm acreage, easements, and corners against recorded plats or a licensed surveyor. If a county shows “Verify via map,” use the national map outbound link and confirm you landed on the official local source before relying on the draw.

Gulf counties may expose surge or wetland toggles beside parcels—useful for diligence, still not a survey. Northern counties with timber tracts often list acreage that includes classified woodland; read the land-use fields. We only link out.
