City of Dallas plat maps are the recorded plats for lots in Dallas, Texas, and the parcel map that shows those lots for taxes. Dallas the city is mainly in Dallas County. Some Dallas mailing addresses fall in neighboring counties, so read the county name on the appraisal notice before you pick a viewer.

The plat is the filed lot layout. The GIS map is the appraisal district's current parcel. You use the parcel map to get the property ID and the subdivision name, then the plat for the lot, block, and easements as recorded.

How to open them

  1. Start at the Platbookmapper home page.
  2. Open the Texas county directory and select Dallas County, unless the tax bill names another county.
  3. Open the official GIS link and search the site address or property ID.
  4. Search the county plat or recorded-document index for that subdivision.

Platbookmapper links out to the county parcel and lot-line viewer. It does not host Dallas plats, and the GIS line is not a survey.
