A county map of Florida with zip codes draws postal delivery areas across Florida's 67 counties. Zip codes are a mailing system. County lines are political boundaries. Parcel and lot lines are a third map, published by the county property appraiser or GIS office. Laying zip codes on a county outline does not reveal who owns a lot or where the corners are.
Coastal zip codes are a common mix-up. A beach mailing address can sit in a different city name than the county that appraises the parcel. The property appraiser's map is the one that carries the parcel number.
Open the Florida county parcel map
- Go to the Platbookmapper home page and search the county.
- Or use the Florida county directory.
- Open the official GIS link. Search the site address or the parcel ID from the tax bill.
- Ignore the zip code for the lot line. Use it only for mail.
Platbookmapper is the directory for those local parcel and lot-line viewers. The line on the county map is for assessment. It is not a survey, and it is not a zip-code boundary.
Not a survey. County GIS and tax parcel maps are assessment and planning layers. They are not a substitute for a recorded plat, deed, or licensed survey.
