What the county says about its parcel data
The viewer opens with a disclaimer. It says the data is informational, is not a survey, and should not be used to set precise boundaries, property lines, road centerlines or legal descriptions. It also notes that Kansas law (K.S.A. 45-220(c)(2) and 45-230) may restrict using lists of names and addresses from public records for some kinds of solicitation, which matters if you plan to use the Mail List tool.
Dickinson County KS parcel search for taxes
For tax amounts, use the Tax Information Search linked from the viewer. The county’s property tax page explains the schedule:
- Tax bills go out in mid-November.
- The first half is due by December 20. After that, interest starts to accrue.
- If the first half is paid on time, the second half is due by May 10 of the following year. No second-half notice is mailed.
