Hamilton County Ohio parcel map: Cincinnati, Norwood, Forest Park
Hamilton County’s interactive GIS is an ArcGIS Experience app covering the Cincinnati core and inner-ring cities. If you need lot lines for a Over-the-Rhine rehab, a Norwood industrial reuse, or a Forest Park residential closing, start here — not on a statewide sketch.
Platbookmapper is an Amazon Associate. If you buy through an Amazon link on this page, we earn a commission. The link is a product, not the county map.
Urban fabric the map has to handle
Cincinnati parcels range from 20-foot Italianate lots to sprawling hospital and university campuses. Norwood’s grid sits as a city island inside Cincinnati; Forest Park’s postwar plats feel suburban by comparison. The Experience viewer is built to search across that mix without making you guess which municipality hosts the tax polygon.
Vacant parcels in a built-up county
Vacancy here is often a demolished house footprint, a cleared corner commercial pad, or a river-adjacent industrial remnant. Zoom imagery along the Mill Creek valley and the Ohio River frontage; click empty polygons and save the parcel ID before walking the site. Floodplain and remediation questions outrank “is it big enough?”
Industry and employment land
Consumer brands, healthcare, higher education, and river logistics shape large polygons. When a broker pitches “last industrial acre inside the loop,” verify the outline against rail and highway access on the basemap — marketing photos rarely show the tax lot’s true shape.

Search tips
- Try street address first; fall back to parcel ID from a tax bill.
- Norwood and other enclaves can confuse out-of-town address databases — if search fails, pan the map.
- Print or screenshot attributes for your file; do not treat the screen as a survey.
Enclaves and edge cases
Norwood’s city-within-a-city layout and other municipal quirks mean an address database can send you to the wrong pin. When search fails, pan from a known landmark (hospital campus, river bend, highway interchange) and click the building footprint you care about. The Experience app’s identify tool is more reliable than fighting the geocoder.
Not a survey. County GIS tax parcels are reference layers. Cincinnati-metro parcels look sharp on the Experience map, but setbacks and title calls need deeds, plats, and an Ohio surveyor.
