Lewis County Parcel Search: Washington’s GIS Parcel Viewer and PATS
A Lewis County parcel search in Washington uses two county tools: PATS, the parcel and tax record search, and the Lewis County GIS Web Map parcel viewer. Searching for a different Lewis County? Six other states have one, and they are listed at the end of this guide.

PATS: Lewis County parcel and tax search
PATS searches four ways:
- Name
- Street address
- Parcel number
- Account number
From a result you can open the full parcel map. PATS covers real property, not business personal property. Questions go to parcel@lewiscountywa.gov.
The Lewis County GIS Web Map parcel viewer
The Lewis County GIS Web Map has a “Find Address or Parcel” search and a layer list grouped into:
- Voting & Taxing Districts
- Public Works
- Surveys & Land Docs
- Zoning & Permitting
- Critical Areas
- Parcels & Base Layers
Surveys & Land Docs is worth a look if you are researching a boundary. The splash screen also notes that the map shows elevations in the NAVD88 datum, which differ from the NGVD29 elevations on official FEMA maps. That matters for anyone comparing a building site with flood elevations. The county says its maps do not meet legal, engineering or survey standards.
Assessor parcel maps and taxes
The Assessor publishes assessor parcel maps and can be reached at (360) 740-1392. The Treasurer, (360) 740-1115, handles tax bills. Mail goes to PO Box 509 in Chehalis, and there is a payment drop box at 351 NW North Street in Chehalis.

If the Lewis County parcel viewer is down
PATS and the web map are separate, so try one when the other stalls. The Assessor’s parcel maps are another fallback. Our entry is at Lewis County in our Washington directory.
More Washington parcel viewers
Platbookmapper keeps a free, county-by-county directory of official parcel viewers and county GIS maps across the United States. Neighboring Cowlitz County is covered too. If you research land in more than one county, start at the all-states directory or pick a county on the national parcel map, and you will land on the official viewer instead of a data-broker copy.

Not a survey. County GIS and tax parcel maps are assessment and planning layers. They are not a substitute for a recorded plat, deed, or licensed survey — especially for fences, setbacks, or boundary disputes.
