Outdoor Sensor for a Pump House
A pump house in the field is easy to ignore until the door is open.

Why this comes up
A pump house in the field is easy to ignore until the door is open. Put the sensor on the pump-house door, inside your fence.
What to check on the map first
County GIS lines are assessment maps. They are not a survey, and a product will not redraw them.
Open Platbookmapper and choose the state. The directory sends you to the county viewer. Match the parcel ID before you trust a pin on an aerial photo.
A tool that matches the job
Shop the Motion sensor when that is the job in front of you. Put the sensor on the pump-house door, inside your fence.
The limit
Put the sensor on your lane or your door. A chime is not a boundary, and a shared easement is only a right to pass.
Match the parcel ID on the tax bill before you shop for the field kit.
Not a survey. County GIS and tax parcel maps are assessment and planning layers. They are not a substitute for a recorded plat, deed, or licensed survey.
