Weber County Parcel Search: Geo-Gizmo Parcel Viewer and WC Parcel Search
A Weber County parcel search runs through two county tools: WC Parcel Search for records and the Geo-Gizmo parcel viewer for the map. The county publishes unusually clear search tips, including how its 9-digit parcel numbers are built, and this guide walks through them.

How a Weber County parcel number works
Weber County parcel numbers are nine digits in a book, page and parcel pattern. The county’s example: Book 10, Page 013, Parcel 0001 becomes 100130001. Two useful tricks follow from that:
- If you only know the first part of a number, a partial entry pulls up the whole series of parcels that start with it.
- Because the number starts with the book and page, a partial search is a quick way to list other parcels in the same series.
The Treasurer’s payment lookup asks for the parcel with no dashes, so keep a dash-free copy of the number handy.
Weber parcel search by owner or address
WC Parcel Search accepts a parcel number, owner name or address. The county’s own tips:
- Owner: the last name alone usually works best. Property may be recorded under a trust or a spouse’s name, so a miss does not mean the person owns nothing.
- Address: if you are unsure of the street format, enter only the house number. For 2341 S 500 E, typing 2341 is enough to get a list. Use USPS abbreviations when you do type the street.
The Geo-Gizmo parcel viewer
Geo-Gizmo is Weber County’s GIS map. Header links lead to the Recorder, Surveyor, Elections, Planning and Mapping pages, a Create Mailer tool and Help. In our test it took about half a minute to finish loading, so give it time before assuming it is broken. The county’s disclaimer says parcel lines are approximate and that the parcel data comes from the Assessor and Recorder.
For values, the Assessor also publishes an assessed value map (“Weber County Assessor Property Values - 2026”) that searches by parcel ID, owner or address.
Which Weber County office to call
Weber County splits property questions across offices. From the county’s parcel search page:
- Assessor (values, greenbelt): 801-399-8572
- Recorder/Surveyor (ownership, address, legal description): 801-399-8441 or 801-399-8020
- Treasurer (tax payments): 801-399-8454
- Clerk/Auditor (value appeals): 801-399-8400
The county offices are at 2380 Washington Blvd in Ogden. If you need a custom map, county GIS charges $50 an hour with a one-hour minimum (801-399-8561).
If the Weber parcel viewer is slow or down
Geo-Gizmo is a full GIS app and loads slowly. If it hangs, use WC Parcel Search, which is a simple record search, or the assessed value map. Our older Weber County parcel map overview and Weber County in our Utah directory link the same official tools.
Other Utah parcel viewers
Platbookmapper keeps a free, county-by-county directory of official parcel viewers and county GIS maps across the United States. The Utah county GIS page covers every county, and our Utah parcel map guide covers the state as a whole. If you research land in more than one county, start at the all-states directory or pick a county on the national parcel map, and you will land on the official viewer instead of a data-broker copy.

Not a survey. County GIS and tax parcel maps are assessment and planning layers. They are not a substitute for a recorded plat, deed, or licensed survey — especially for fences, setbacks, or boundary disputes.
