Map book and page is another name offices use for the plat's filing number.

Some clerks say plat book, some say map book, some say slide. The deed's wording should match the label that office uses.
On the recorded sheet
The page holds one sheet or one continuation. A large subdivision can occupy several pages. Get all the pages the certificate mentions.
The mix-up to avoid
A tax map book is a different series in some counties. Read whether the citation says tax map or plat.
