What Is a Temporary Construction Easement
A temporary construction easement lets a project enter a strip of a lot for grading or access, then ends.

Plats and road plans set an expiration: when the work is accepted, or on a date. After that, the permanent easement, if any, is all that remains.
On the recorded sheet
The temporary strip can be wider than the permanent utility easement. Confusing them makes the taking look larger than the remainder.
The mix-up to avoid
If the date has passed, confirm the release was recorded. Calendars in the note do not file themselves.
Find the county map
The county GIS map is the practical place to start. Find it from the Platbookmapper directory, then treat the recorded plat and deed as the documents behind the picture.
Not a survey. County GIS and tax parcel maps are assessment and planning layers. They are not a substitute for a recorded plat, deed, or licensed survey.
