How it works in Austria
Austria's federal surveying office (BEV) runs a single national cadastre and shows it for free at kataster.bev.gv.at, updated daily. Click a parcel to see its number, cadastral municipality (Katastralgemeinde), area, land use and Einlagezahl (EZ), the entry that links it to the Grundbuch. Owner names are not shown on the map; a Grundbuch extract is available for a small fee.
A note on accuracy
Online parcel and cadastral maps are for reference only. They are not a survey or a title search. Before you buy land or settle a boundary question, order the official title record from the land registry named on this page and get a licensed surveyor or notary to check it.
